If you have booked in advance via the app you can cancel up until the time your vehicle has been dispatched on the app. If you have booked via the office you can simply call the office back to amend or cancel your journey. However, if the vehicle is already at the pick-up point then there will be a car not used payment.
Always remember that at peak times such as rush hour and Friday and Saturday nights we are always busier than normal. This can sometimes result in job pickup times slipping slightly. You can track your driver through the “Track” option from the App once the job has been despatched to a vehicle. If you want further information, then call the office through the “info” page “Contact us” option.
Tipping a driver is completely up to you. Drivers will always do their best to give you the best possible service, so if you think they deserve a tip then that is your decision.
Some drivers do allow small pets, but most drivers tell the office if they want pets in their cars, so you are best off calling the office and asking them for a pet friendly Driver and vehicle.
The best thing to do in this situation is to call the office on 0191 2652237 as soon as you notice you've left something.
Our fleet consists of  vehicles capable of carrying 1 to 8 passengers, as standard you will be sent the closest vehicle to you at the time of your booking unless you request otherwise. We also offer executive and specialist vehicles on request, please discuss this with the operator when booking your journey.
Once you have pressed “Book” from the booking screen you will be presented with a job number. This job number is confirmation from the Taxi Company that the booking has been entered into the computer system. Alternatively, if you select “Bookings” from the main page you can open your booking details and view the booking “Status”. This should say “Booked” or “Despatched” if the vehicle is on its way to you. If you book your journey by calling the office our operator will confirm your booking. If you book a vehicle for a later time/date via a mobile phone you will also receive text confirmation of your booking.
All of our drivers accept cash and card payments within their vehicle. If there is a problem with card payments please contact our operators on 0191 2652237
This depends very much on the type of vehicle you have chosen or require and the distance you are travelling. For example a specialist vehicle will have a higher price than a saloon vehicle. Always ask the operator for a quote or use our online fare calculator if you’re unsure you have sufficient funds.
You can set any address to be a default pickup or destination. If you go into the Profile page and select ‘Favourite addresses’ you can then scroll through your recently used addresses. Once you find your preferred pickup address simply press on the address and select “Set default ‘from’ address”.
To book a taxi you must setup a profile. This ensures the Taxi Company have your details if the driver needs to request a callback/textback or if he needs your name. Next you will need to fill in the time of your pickup, where you would like to be picked up from and where you want to go to. If you add a note this will go to the driver once he has received the job. If you would like to book via the phone our friendly operators will ask you for all information required.
